Sometimes I want to believe that looking back is for the weak. That it’s meant for losers who can’t deal with reality and the nostalgic who refuse the present. I want to believe that the present is always better, and even good memories are incapable of parity. That hurt and misery all reside in a past, and their bodies perished with the remains of self destruction; never to be remembered. That loss is just a fact, like respiration and condensation - simply give and take, take and give and take some more until like a water drop, you can hold no more and you fall, and you lose. I want to believe that life is truly just a vapor and there is nothing worthy to hold onto. Not the sunlight, not the laughters, not the promises, nor any revelation can be missed. That no innovation can preserve time or impede its steps, and when we dream we dream supernaturally, not from images we already know.
